Dr. Anshu Bhardwaj

Dr. Anshu Bhardwaj is a scientist at the CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh, India, where she focuses on bioinformatics, systems biology, and infectious disease research. With a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad, her expertise lies in the theoretical analysis of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) and their diagnostic applications. Dr. Bhardwaj has played a pivotal role in the Open-Source Drug Discovery project, utilizing crowdsourcing to solve complex scientific challenges. Her current research aims to identify novel drug targets in pathogenic bacteria and explore antimicrobial resistance, drug repurposing, and rare diseases like human mitochondrial DNA variations. She serves as editorial board member for several journals. She has received numerous international fellowships and awards, including the INSERM CRI Long-Term Fellowship.
