Dr. Achuthan Ambat is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University, where he began his role in June 2024. His research focuses on advanced biological studies, building upon his expertise in microbiology and microbial interactions. Before joining Stanford, Dr. Ambat was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Oklahoma State University where he contributed to key projects in microbiology, particularly in microbiome analysis and experimental models. He earned his PhD in Biology from South Dakota State University, where his doctoral research centered on microbiome studies using mice models. Dr. Ambat holds both a BSc and MSc in Microbiology from the Amrita School of Biotechnology. His research interests lie in microbial interactions, microbiome analysis, and the use of animal models in experimental biology.
