Ms. Remya Krishnan, a student from S9 Int. MSc (P&M) was awarded the summer research fellowship from Indian Academy of Sciences. She performed her research work at CSIR-NIIST, Trivandrum during 1st June – 26th July 2017.
Mr. Abhishek Viswanath, student of S3 MSc Physics was awarded the summer research fellowship from Indian Academy of Sciences. His research work was performed at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra.
Ms. Meenu R. Nair, student of S3 MSc Physics got selection at the Summer School Programme (SSP – 2017) conducted by the Institute of Plasma Research (IPR) at Gandhinagar. She completed the programme, which includes a project work, availing the stipend provided by IPR during 29th May 2017 to 7th July 2017.
Ms. Sreepriya V, student of S7 Int. MSc (P&M) was awarded the summer research fellowship from Indian Academy of Sciences. Her project was done at the Aryabhatta Research Institute of observational Sciences, Nainital.
Mr. Sarath S. student of S7 Int. MSc (P&M) was selected for IISER Thiruvananthapuram summer research fellowship.
Mr. Kulandai Velu R M, student of S4 MSc Physics, performed his MSc project work at Colorado State University under student exchange programme. The work was done under the guidance of Prof. Sampath, Materials Sciences laboratory, NSF I/UCRC for Next Generation Photovoltaics, Engineering Research Center, Colorado State University.
Mr. Sathyanarayanan, PhD student, Dept. of Physics co-authored a paper which was selected in the international conference on “Ultraviolet Sky Surveys: the Needs and the Means” at Tel Aviv University from July 10 to July 14, 2017.
Mr. Sathyanarayanan, PhD student, Dept. of Physics co-authored a paper which was selected for presentation at the 13th Asian-Pacific Regional IAU Meeting (APRIM 2017) held on July 3-7, 2017 at Taipei International Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
