Established in 2002, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been at the forefront of academic excellence, research, and innovation. The journey began with a single B.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering, gradually expanding to include a Ph.D. program in 2010, the first M.Tech program in 2012, and further growth in 2019 with the introduction of a second B.Tech and a second M.Tech program.

With over 1,700 students supported by a dedicated team of 78 faculty members, the department fosters a thriving academic and research environment. We take pride in hosting 30 international students and guiding more than 100 Ph.D. scholars in cutting-edge research.
The department is well-equipped with 5 academic labs and 13 research labs, providing state-of-the-art facilities for learning and innovation. Over the past four years, we have successfully graduated 14 Ph.D. scholars, published 848 research papers, established 22 research collaborations, and accumulated more than 3,700 citations.
Our faculty and researchers are actively involved in 19 funded projects and hold 31 patents, further reinforcing our commitment to impactful research and technological advancements.
Accredited by NAAC and consistently ranked among the top 7 universities in India as per NIRF rankings, the department continues to push the boundaries of knowledge, fostering an environment that nurtures innovation, research, and excellence in computer science and engineering.
