Objectives and Outcomes

Course Objective:

To understand the general concept of logistics and supply chain management; to better analyze the distribution channel, starting from raw material supply to the finished good delivery to the end user;

to learn the re-engineering of existing logistics network and to apply the global trends in supply chain management such as the IT application etc.

Course Outcomes:

The student will be able:

CO1: To understand fundamental supply chain management concepts.

CO2: To apply knowledge to evaluate and manage an effective supply chain.

CO3: To ascertain the foundational role of logistics as it relates to transportation and warehousing.

CO4: To develop an understanding of the importance of logistics in the formulation of the business strategy and the conduct of supply chain operations.
