Unit II
Patents – Elements of Patentability: Novelty, Non-Obviousness, Industrial Application – Types of Patents -Non-Patentable Subject Matter – Patent Registration Procedure, Rights and Duties of Patentee, Assignment and licensing of Patent, Restoration of lapsed Patents, Surrender and Revocation of Patents, Infringement of Patent, Remedies & Penalties – Patent office and Appellate Board.
