Syllabus

Unit I

Introduction to AI in Design:

Overview of AI and its applications in design. It covers the basics of AI, including machine learning and deep learning, and discusses how these technologies can be used in various aspects of communication design.

Unit II

AI Tools for Design:

AI tools that can be used in design. It covers tools for image recognition, natural language processing, and predictive modeling, among others. Students will get hands-on experience with these tools through practical assignments.

Unit III

Designing with AI:

Integrate AI into their design process. They will explore how AI can be used for ideation, prototyping, and testing, and will work on projects that require the use of AI tools.

Unit IV

Ethical Considerations in AI for Design:

Ethical considerations of using AI in design. It discusses issues such as bias in AI, privacy concerns, and the impact of AI on jobs in the design industry.

Unit V

Future of AI in Design : Future of AI in design. It covers emerging trends and technologies, and discusses how they might shape the field of communication design in the future.

Course Objective

The course objective is to introduce students to the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Communication Design, and equip them with the skills to integrate AI tools and techniques in their design projects.
