India’s government assumed G20 Presidency from December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2023. Engagement Groups, including non-government participants from each G20 member, offer recommendations to G20 Leaders and aid in policymaking.
Amma chairs the Civil 20 Engagement Group (C20), which collaborates with numerous global civil service and non-governmental organizations to represent public concerns at the summit. Five of the Civil 20 working groups are led by Amrita-leaders. Our founding Director, Dr. Prema Nedungadi, served as the C20 Education and Digital Transformation Working Group India Coordinator.
