Dr. Sanjay Pal, Associate Professor, Sanitation Biotechnology Lab, School of Biotechnology, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, was invited to present a talk titled, “Complementary Approaches to Combat Antibiotic Resistance in Bacteria” at the Indo-UK Conference on Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases, held at Inter University Centre for Biomedical Research and Super Speciality Hospital (IUCBR & SSH), Kottayam, Kerala, from February 25-26, 2019.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has had partnered with The India-Canada Centre for Innovative Multidisciplinary Partnerships to Accelerate Community Transformation and Sustainability (IC-IMPACTS) to develop and implement community-based solutions to meet the most urgent needs of Canada and India: poor water quality, unsafe and unsustainable infrastructure, and poor health from waterbornewater-borne and infectious diseases. The collaboration is to develop and test local solutions that can be scaled up across India and Canada.
