Amrita HuT Labs Successfully Deploys IoT Based Crop Protection System. Humanitarian Technology (HuT) Labs of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, designed a solar-powered, IoT based intelligent system that can be used to prevent crop damage due to wild animals.
Inter-disciplinary research at the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus (ASE-C) on the topic, “An Investigation on the Impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Deployment for Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Development of an Assessment Framework” was showcased in the October 2019 issue of Dream 2047 bi-lingual Science magazine published by Vigyan Prasar (VP), the science communication arm of Department of Science & Technology (DST) of Government of India.
