Amrita Center for Wireless Networks & Applications (AmritaWNA) Ph. D. scholar Rahul Krishnan, was in Kyoto, Japan, presenting his Ph. D. work at the IEEE PerCom (Pervasive Computing and Communication) Conference 2019, from March 11-15, 2019.
A project for portable water purifiers under the Jivamritam: Clean Drinking Water Project, the joint project of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, the Consulate General of Israel to South India, Bangalore, and Tel Aviv University, was inaugurated at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, on January 21, 2019.
PhD scholars at Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA) Mr. Ram Kumar and Ms. Uma Gopalakrishnan published a research work titled “Multiparty Gaze Preservation through Perspective Switching for Interactive eLearning Environments” in the Springer Journal ”Multimedia Tools and Applications” with an Impact factor of 1.5.
Amrita professors visited the Aix-Marseille Université in Marseilles, France, as a follow-up visit on November 5, 2018, and met with faculty members and Deans of several departments.
As part of the Indo-German collaborative project ‘FloodEvac’, the researchers of Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA) and TU München, Germany, published a joint paper in the Journal of Hydroinformatics.
