Main goal of this club is to provide opportunities to both students and faculties to know wide flavours of films beyond the limitations of language and to open before them the creative world of films, besides instilling in them aesthetic and finer sensibilities.
The club focuses to give the members an experience and technical knowledge on film appreciation and filmmaking through movie screenings, workshops, and competitions. In recent times we had conducted a couple of activities under the club which include a film-making competition as part of Gokul Ashtami 2022 and a movie screening during the 75th Independence day celebration under the title Azadi Ki AmritMahotsav. We have a plan to come up with a club induction program in the month of May 2023 and a club election to select the new student coordinators.

Event Details: In collaboration with Amrita Talkies club, Amrita Anime Community screened episodes 1070-1072 of anime “One Piece”. This was a great start for the anime community, around 150 to 180 students participated.
Conclusion: Thanks to Dr. A. S. Ramkumar, Professor of Student’s Welfare and Ms. K. B. Aswathi from Amrita talkies, this event was a success. Students are looking forward for more events from our club, please continue your support.
