A., Assistant Professor, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus was selected to present a paper titled Big-Data Perspective to Operating an SKA-Type Synthesis Array Radio Telescope at the XXIX General Assembly of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) to be held from August 3-14, 2015 at Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

The S2BCA students of the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Amritapuri campus organized a visit to Gandhi Bhavan old age home in Pathanapuram, Kollam District of Kerala on May 1, 2015.
Nithin Anjaneya, secured Third Place and won a Bronze Medal at the 5th MTI PRO AM National Muaythai Championship 2015. Nithin Anjaneya is an eighth semester BTech student from the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru. He participated as a contestant in 63.5-67 Kg weight category, Senior and Cadet, in the age group of 19-37 at the competition. He was the only contestant selected from Karnataka.
In a matter six days (from 27th April to 3rd May, 2015), the Maharashtra State Council for Educational Research and Training (MSCERT) under the Maharashtra Education Ministry used A-VIEW (Amrita Virtual Interactive E- Learning World) to train 35,000 school teachers at over 500 centers across Maharashtra.
