In this work, we aim to enhance the speaking capabilities of people with speaking disabilities due to neurological disorders.
The focus of the work is in two aspects. Develop assistive tools to help them speak. Another aspect is to give them therapy support by enhancing the quality of their speech using signal processing techniques and motivate them speak more and more.
This work will be done in collaboration with the Department of Neurology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi and National Institute for Speech and Hearing, Thiruvananthapuram.
