Study examines the neuropsychological functions, emotional processing and quality of life in patients with benign brain tumors, before and after (at 6 months) Cyber Knife (CK) and its long term outcome at 1 year. Additionally, we also aim to evaluate the combined effect of Cognitive retraining (CR) along with CK in the same domains. Selected neuropsychological tests from NIMHANS Neuropsychology Battery (2004) and Wechsler Memory Scale-III (WMS) will be used for cognitive evaluation, Emotional Processing Scale (EPS) will be used to evaluate emotional processing, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) for measuring anxiety and depressive symptoms, European Organization for the Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire (EORTC) (QLQ-30) and Specific Brain Cancer module (BN 20) for quality of life and The Functional Independence Measurement and Functional Activity Measurement system (FIMFAM) for Activities of Daily Living. CR comprises of neuropsychological retraining with minimum 8 individual sessions and home-based activities will be done.
