About the Project

Electrocoagulation with advanced oxidation is a versatile technology for removing a variety of contaminants from water. This study focuses on designing electrocoagulation reactors for simultaneous removal of multiple emerging contaminants in water. Specific attention is on pharmaceutical compounds such as acetaminophen (as a model compound) and different classes of medicines (anti-coagulants, anti-epileptics).
