Autoimmune neurology is the newest subspecialty in neurology. It deals with all the neurological disorders caused by autoimmunity. It transects all the other subspecialties of neurology like cognitive neurology, movement disorders, peripheral nervous system disorders, demyelinating disorders, and stroke. Our work mainly focuses on describing newer autoimmune neurological syndromes, discovering newer disease markers, developing animal models and discovering the disease mechanisms.
