Abstract : The study concentrates on the material management practices among the selected manufacturing companies. An arranged questionnaire based on elements of demand management, inventory management, capacity planning, process planning was used for the data collection. Data was collected from 22 manufacturing companies in Mysore city. Analysis include T-test and mean score. The result found that material management of manufacturing companies are measured based on practices followed by the production units. © IAEME Publication
