Current Area: Data Dissemination Framework for Marine Opportunistic Network

Opportunistic network is a challenged network where the nodes meet opportunistically over time. In such network, complete path from source to destination doesn’t exist always. The network is dynamic and edges are time-dependent so path will be highly unstable and may break or change quickly. To make the communication possible in such network, the intermediate nodes may take custody of data and forward it when the connectivity resumes. My research aims to come up with a mechanism to deliver the data in such a challenged network.
