Academic Credentials: Ph.D. (IIT Kharagpur), PGDBM (ASBM, Bhubaneswar), MPhil and MSc “Gold-Medallist” (Sambalpur University).

Dr. Saswat Barpanda is presently working as an Associate Professor with the Department of Management as an Associate Professor in the area of Human Resource Management. Dr. Saswata completed his M.Sc. (Gold-Medallist) and M.Phil. degree in Zoology from Sambalpur University, Orissa, PGDBM from Asian School of Business Management, Bhubaneswar and his Ph.D. degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from Vinod Gupta school of Management, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. During his Ph.D., he was also involved on a project in Microfinance Researchers Alliance Program (MRAP), funded by Ford Foundation for Centre for Microfinance (CMF), IFMR Chennai. He has more than 10 years of experiences in academic teaching and research. He has presented and published his research work in national and international conferences and referred journals. Prior to his Ph.D., he has more than 3 years of experiences in recruitment, manpower planning, training, formulating HR policies and procedures
