Bio

Sajith Variyar V. V. Currently serves as Assistant Professor at Amrita Center for Computational Engineering and Networking (CEN), Coimbatore Campus. He pursued his M.Tech in Computational Engineering and Networking (CEN). The primary research focus is on developing AI enabled Unmanned Aerial Applications for agriculture and ecology target monitoring. He has collaborated with University of Wyoming, School of Computing, USA for developing various AI enabled solutions for ecology monitoring. The study conducted for the usage of unmanned aerial vehicles inside the canopies to monitor the vegetation’s and epiphytes are well appreciated by the American remote sensing society during 2019. Mr. Sajith variyar currently focussed on identifying various invasive species using UAV, computer vision and deep learning algorithms. Mr. Sajith Variyar is alo specialised in developing computer vision applications for aerial robotic systems. Implementation of AI and ML application in embedded platforms for various computer vision mobile application is another domain he is interested in.
