Bio

Dr. Susmitha Vekkot is currently serving as Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr) in Dept of ECE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Bangalore campus. She is the recipient of Govt. of India’s Visvesvaraya Full-time scholarship for pursing Ph D. She has more than a decade of experience in teaching and research space. She has extensive experience teaching engineering subjects associated with applied electronics, speech processing, machine learning and signal processing. Her primary research interests are in signal, speech and image processing with focus on machine learning applications of speech, text, signal, image and video processing in health care, agriculture and human-computer interaction.
