Abstract : Assignment problem is a well known topic and is used very often in solving problems of engineering and management sciences. If the parameters in the assignment problem are uncertain to determine, then the problem is said to be an assignment problem with fuzzy parameters or fuzzy assignment problem. In this article a new algorithm called Haar Hungarian algorithm is proposed. In this algorithm first the fuzzy parameters are converted in to Haar tuples using Haar wavelet technique and Hungarian algorithm is applied to get the solutiond.
