Job description

  • A networking developer is a professional who designs, implements, and manages computer networks, focusing on the software and systems that enable communication and data exchange.

  • They are essentially network engineers who leverage coding and software development skills to build and maintain network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of network infrastructure: This includes setting up routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

  • Software development for network systems: This involves writing code to automate network tasks, manage configurations, and integrate network systems with other software applications. 

  • Network troubleshooting and maintenance: Identifying and resolving network issues, ensuring smooth communication between devices and systems. 

  • Security implementation and management: Protecting networks from unauthorized access, threats, and cyberattacks. 

  • Network performance optimization: Monitoring network traffic, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing performance to meet business needs.

  • Collaboration with other IT teams: Working with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient network environment.
Qualification Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
