Coimbatore, April 22, 2025: Students from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Coimbatore campus have achieved notable results in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025, with multiple students securing positions within the top 100 all-India ranks.
Manan Jain, a student from the 2021–25 batch, secured All India Rank (AIR) 3 in the Aerospace Engineering stream. D. Sahithya Karthik followed closely with AIR 6. Four other students—Vishwa Karthi, Abhinav N Bharadwaj, MVL Vaishnavi, and Anjali Vadakke Veettil—also ranked within the top 100 nationally.
This year, the department recorded a total of 58 students qualifying with GATE ranks, including 18 final-year and 40 third-year students.
“The performance reflects the department’s focus on academic depth, early preparation, and continuous mentoring,” said Dr. A.R. Srikrishnan, Professor & Chairperson, Department of Aerospace Engineering. “Faculty members attributed the results to the sustained efforts of the students and the department’s emphasis on foundational concepts, research orientation, and regular test-based assessments.”
