Syllabus

Unit 1

Science of Self-Assessment and Self-Development: Big 5, other Psychometric assessments. To be able to assess self -awareness in terms of one’s own motivational styles and personality traits

Unit 2

SWOT Analysis: To understand one’s own strengths, areas of development, challenges and opportunities. Discuss with the faculty members to take decisions and action plans

Unit 3

Ethics and Values: Moral values, Nobility, Righteousness, Virtues, Principles, Ideologies. To be able to explain the meaning of values and to map values with decision making and identify personal values for making better decisions

Unit 4

Job Interviews: Resume, Etiquette, Grooming, Confidence, Communication. To be able to explain the purpose and types of job interviews. Also, to understand the readiness quotient for interviews

Unit 5

Preparation for an interview: Do’s, and Don’ts of an interview Knowledge, Company Profile, Job Description, Roles, Attitude, Behavior, Confidence. To be able to apply the do’s and don’ts of a job interview

Unit 6

Managerial Skills: Domain Knowledge, Domain Skills, Soft Skills, Physical Quotient. To be able to Able to measure and improve managerial skills and develop action plans for managerial excellence

Unit 7

Analytical thinking, Critical thinking: Analytical skills, Logical Problem solving, Creativity, Inquisitiveness. To be able to Able to assess analytical and critical thinking skills

Unit 8

Circle of Influence and Circle of Concern: Acceptance, Change, circle of Concern, Confidence, Wisdom. To be able to categorize problems using the concepts of Circle of Influence and Circle of Concern.

Unit 9

Mock Interview – Practice Interview Sessions: Specialization, Company Profile, Field Knowledge, Self Esteem, Communication. To be able to present and prove oneself in the job interview.

Unit 10

Mock Interview – Practice Interview Sessions: Specialization, Interests, Company Profile, Field Knowledge, Self Esteem, Communication. To be able to present and prove oneself in the job interview

Unit 11

Numerical and Logical aptitude: Permutations & Combinations: Basics, Fundamental Counting Principle, and Circular Arrangements. Probability: Basics, Addition & Multiplication Theorems, and Conditional Probability. Logical Reasoning IV: Clocks, Calendars and Syllogisms. Data Interpretation III: Caselets, Mixed Varieties, and other forms of data representation. Data Sufficiency: Introduction, 5 Options Data Sufficiency and 4 Options Data Sufficiency
