Syllabus

Unit 1

Group discussion: The purposes of GD, recruiters’ perspective, skills required to excel in GDs. To make the students understand the importance and purposes of GD in recruitment processes

Unit 2

The role of interpersonal skills in GDs, Understand the interpersonal: Interpersonal skills, interpersonal needs. Understand the interpersonal styles and its impacts on GD performance

Unit 3

GD and team performance: Team performance, team problem solving. Understand the role of GDs in effective team communication and decision-making.

Unit 4

Conflict management: Conflict management, problem solving Understand the process and techniques of conflict management

Unit 5

GD practice: GD Assessing the students levels of skills in each areas of presentation skills

Unit 6

Personal resume: Importance of personal resume in career development .How to prepare an impactful personal resume

Unit 7

Numerical and Logical aptitude: Time and Work, Basics, Pipes & Cistern, and Work Equivalence. Time, Speed and Distance: Basics, Average Speed, Relative Speed, Trains, Boats and Streams. Geometry: Basics of Geometry, Mensuration and Solids. Statistics: Mean Median, Mode, Range, Variance, Quartile Deviation, Standard Deviation and Regression. Logical Reasoning III: Spatial Aptitude, Cubes and Non- Verbal Reasoning.

  • To develop the social skills to make effective interactions in personal and professional situations
  • To develop effective conflict management skills
  • To analyze, understand and employ the most suitable methods to solve questions on arithmetic and algebra.
  • To investigate and apply suitable techniques to solve questions on logical reasoning and data
