Syllabus

Unit 1

Introduction to CIR: introduction to CIR, Campus to corporate transition based on the expectations of the corporate. To understand CIR as a best practice. To clarify the expectations from both sides.

Unit 2

Self-evaluation Skill Understanding: About MBA, aspirations, special skill, multiple intelligences, personal resources. To help analyze and appraise self.

Unit 3

Personal values & attitudes and its impact on behavior: types of values, Motivational properties of values, impact of personal values in decision-making and behaviors. To understand the impact of personal values in our decision-making. Identify one’s own core values and devise strategies to follow them for better personal effectiveness.

Unit 4

Communication: The role of communication in corporate success: The role of communication in Corporate success. Types of Professional communication. To develop insights into the role of communication in corporate success. To understand one’s own styles of communication and device strategies to improve the same.

Unit 5

Assertive Communication: Positivity, Choice of words, Empathy, Clarity of thought and expression. To help develop effective communication skill and assertiveness

Unit 6

Identifying career interests and career paths: About MBA, Career Interests, Scope, Skills, and Personality. To be able to deliver a self -introduction

Unit 7

Goal Setting: Goal, Aim, Long-term, Short-Term, Need, Want, Desire. To be able to identify personal goals from personal values. To create and analyze SMART goals

Unit 8

Time Management & Time Management Techniques: Habits, Priorities, Addictions, circle of influence, hesitance, Pause. To be able to explain the relevance of time in achieving personal goals and identify time killing habits

Unit 9

Stress Management: Self-Awareness, Strain, anxiety, burden, pressure, worry. To define and examine the concept of stress, Types of stressors, Causes of stress

Unit 10

Methods and Techniques of Managing Stress: Attitude, Relax, EI Unwind, Network, Relationship. To be able to apply the techniques for managing stress effectively

Unit 11

Numerical and logical skills : Equations: Basics, Linear, Quadratic, and Problems on ages. Percentage: Basics, Profit, Loss & Discount. Ratio, Proportion & Variation: Basics and Partnership. Logical Reasoning I: Arrangements, Sequencing, Scheduling, and Venn diagram. Data Interpretation I: Tables, Bar Diagrams, Line Graphs and Pie Charts.
