Dr. Sowmya V is an Associate Professor at the Amrita School of Artificial Intelligence, Coimbatore, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. She holds a Ph.D. in AI for Natural Scene Analysis and specializes in AI for Signal and Image Analysis, focusing on Biomedical, Healthcare, and Remote Sensing Data. Her recent research emphasizes AI for Multimodal Data Analysis, Explainable AI, and Generative Models. She has published in reputed journals like IEEE Transactions and serves on the editorial board of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence.
