Course Objective
The objective of the summer internship is to provide students with practical, hands-on experience in the field of commerce and management, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge to real- world business scenarios. This internship aims to develop essential professional skills, enhance understanding of business operations, and foster a deeper appreciation of ethical practices in the commercial environment.
Course Outcomes
Students will be able to:
CO1: To apply concepts learned in the classroom to practical business organisation.

CO3: To gain insights and experience into the day-to-day operations of businesses, and its functional areas.

Internship Structure:
The internship program typically spans one month, during which students work with an organization relevant to their field of study. The internship structure includes:
1. Orientation:
a) Introduction to the organization, its culture, and operations.
b) Setting goals and expectations for the internship.
2. Project Assignment:
a) Students are assigned specific projects or tasks that contribute to the organization’s objectives.
b) Regular supervision and feedback from a mentor or supervisor.
3. Final Presentation:
a) Students have to present their projects and key learnings to the organization and academic supervisors.
b) Submission of a detailed internship report.
4. Evaluation:
The evaluation of the internship program is conducted through a comprehensive assessment of the Internship Report and a Viva-Voce Examination, both of which are evaluated by the concerned Faculty Guide. This dual evaluation approach ensures that students are assessed on both their internship report, ability to articulate and viva-voce.
