The Amrita School of Physical Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, successfully hosted the National Level Science Olympiad SciNQuest ’25 on January 10-11, 2025. The event brought together bright minds from various schools across the country, offering them an opportunity to engage in thrilling competitions and enriching experiences in the fields of Science and Mathematics.
SciNQuest ’25 was a unique event designed to nurture the next generation of scientists and innovators. The event featured three flagship competitions:
In addition to these flagship events, the two-day event also included various workshops and invited talks by renowned experts from diverse scientific fields. Students were exposed to cutting-edge research, explored innovative ideas, and interacted with leading professionals. Exhibition stalls by external agencies and Amrita research centers were also set up, providing valuable insights into ongoing scientific advancements.
One of the key highlights of the event was the exciting opportunity for students to win cash prizes worth Rs. 3 Lakh. The winners were also awarded a chance for a free summer internship at the Amritapuri campus in May 2025, further enhancing their practical exposure to the world of science.
SciNQuest ’25 not only allowed students to showcase their skills and talents but also offered them a platform to broaden their cognitive abilities, engage in intellectual discussions, and immerse themselves in the ever-evolving domains of Science and Mathematics. The event proved to be a massive success, inspiring students to continue exploring new realms of knowledge and contributing to the future of scientific research.

On 11th January 2025, as part of SciNQuest 2025, Dr. Manju B R, Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Amrita School of Physical Sciences, Amritapuri Campus, led a captivating workshop titled “Unveiling The Future – Demystifying Artificial Intelligence”.

On 11th January 2025, as part of the SciNQuest 2025 National Science Olympiad, Prof. Ambat Vijayakumar, Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at Cochin University of Science and Technology, delivered an insightful talk titled “Invisible Mathematics”. His session illuminated the often unseen yet incredibly impactful role of mathematics in the world, revealing its influence on everything from technology to daily life.

On January 10th, 2025, we hosted an astrophotography workshop at SciNQuest 2025, led by Mr. Amal A.S, a renowned astrophotographer from AASTRO Kerala.
