Bio

Dr. T. Shuprajhaa pursued her Bachelor of engineering degree with specialization in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and Master of Engineering degree with specialization in Instrumentation Engineering, from Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University Campus, Chennai. She holds a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli with specialization in development of next generation controllers.

With experience in research and industry collaboration projects, she has involved herself in sensor development, automation, and industrial process optimization. She has worked as a Junior Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at NIT-Trichy and ICAR-National Research Centre for Banana (NRCB), where she developed smart next generation controllers, smart process automation solutions, nanotechnology-based sensors, smart packaging indicators, nano-composite materials and value-added products from agro-biowaste.

She has published her research works in high impact peer reviewed journals, national and international conferences and book chapters. Her areas of research focus include control systems, process control, applied soft computing, food biochemistry and nano technology.
