Bio

Dr. P. Chitra is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 10 years of research experience and 8 years in teaching. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence, School of Artificial Intelligence, Amrita University, Coimbatore, India. Dr. Chitra specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Quantum Computing, and advanced image compression techniques, including 4D medical imaging and autoencoders.
Her scholarly contributions include numerous publications in SCI and SCOPUS-indexed journals, patents in AI-driven healthcare solutions, and book chapters with Springer and IGI Global. Recognized with the Best Researcher Award (2023) and Best Paper Award (2019), she has also played key roles in curriculum design, research mentorship, and academic leadership. Dr. Chitra is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to address real-world challenges in healthcare and computing.
