Abstract : The DC-DC converter of a spacecraft is one of the basic components of a satellite, which has important role in ensuring the complete success of the mission. For providing a regulated voltage to various subsystems of satellites with variation in input voltage and output resistive load, DC-DC converter is used. This work presents a brief idea about the study, design and implementation of push-pull converter, PWM controller and lag-lead controller. The various topologies for DC-DC converter are studied and out of all DC-DC converters, push-pull converter is the one which can achieve tight regulation on the output voltage. So a push-pull converter for low power is designed for providing regulated power supply to the telemetry tracking transmitter subsystem in satellite. This work deals with the design and implementation details of multi output push-pull converter with PWM controller IC (UC 3825). The results obtained in hardware implementation is presented and analyzed in detail for 7W, 50 kHz laboratory prototype developed.
