Participants also engaged in case studies highlighting successful water management projects from across India and beyond.
The event offered specialized training to school and college teachers to incorporate water sustainability into their curricula. Students were encouraged to participate in water audits, develop conservation models, and launch awareness campaigns in their communities.
To support ongoing efforts, Amrita unveiled a comprehensive “Water Sustainability Toolkit.” The toolkit includes educational materials, guidelines for implementing water conservation projects, and resources for measuring the impact of such initiatives.
The workshops featured partnerships with government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and international agencies working on water-related issues. Experts from diverse backgrounds shared insights, creating a multidisciplinary approach to addressing water challenges.
The event concluded with a pledge taken by participants to be ambassadors of water sustainability in their respective regions. By empowering individuals with education and tools, Amrita’s workshops laid the foundation for a ripple effect of positive change in water management across the nation.
