Qualification Bsc - Computer Science/ Bsc IT, BE / Btech - Computer Science/ Diploma in IT with Networking professional certifications.
Job Description

  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade & support of server, data center networking infrastructure

  • Ensure the availability, reliability, security, quality of on-prem IT infrastructure & the services it provides to the business

  • Review existing & emerging ICT requirements, conduct market research & due diligence to identify, commission appropriate products & services

  • Assist in policy development & consultation with the manager

  • Test new hardware & software before commissioning. Automate any recurring tasks using scripts

  • Identify, investigate, analyse, resolve,log/report issues, incidents on time to ensure minimal business disruption

  • Perform root cause analysis to permanently solve recurring issues

  • Collaborate with the network administrators

  • H/W & S/W maintenance teams in the deployment, monitoring, management of the IT infrastructure

  • Monitor onsite IT infrastructure capacity- performance levels and report all upgrade requirements on time 

  • Maintain accurate documentation of all core system

  • network infrastructure including cloud services

  • provide 3rd level support for the service desk analysts

  • Manage overflow of service desks requests as required.

Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Windows

  • Linux system. Understanding of file systems, user permissions

  • OS installation/configuration

  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

  • Knowledge of routers, switches, & firewalls

  • H/W troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with servers & storage devices 

  • Knowledge of basic system monitoring & diagnostic tools

  • Cloud & Virtualization (Optional but Desirable)

  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

  • Familiarity with virtual environments like VMware or Hyper-V

  • Certifications (Optional but Beneficial): CompTIA A+.

  • Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Windows Server Certification. Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA). Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
