Bio

Mr. Aravind CB is a dedicated and accomplished academic professional, currently serving as a faculty member in the Department of Amrita Darshanam at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in English from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and holds both Postgraduate and Undergraduate Degrees in English Language and Literature from the University of Kerala, as well as a Bachelor of Education Degree in English from Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University.

Mr. Aravind’s teaching career includes two years as an Assistant Professor of English at KNM Arts and Science College, University of Kerala, and two years as a Faculty member and as a Content Writer for Amrita School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies, Amritapuri Campus. His subject expertise spans English Literature, Indian Knowledge System, Cultural Education, Meditation and Universal Human Value Programmes, with a particular focus on English literature, Indian Knowledge Systems, Spiritual-Bhakti Literature, Eco-criticism, Meditation and Sustainable Development.

In addition to his teaching and research roles, Mr. Aravind has demonstrated significant administrative acumen. He has coordinated school-level work for University Accreditation processes and actively participated in National Board of Accreditation visits. His experience in these roles has equipped him with essential skills in organization, coordination, and compliance, making him an invaluable asset in both academic and administrative settings.

He has also contributed to the development of academic textbooks for the Amrita School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies. Proficient in English and creative writing, he has a proven track record of organizing and conducting workshops, seminars, and conferences, demonstrating his leadership and ability to engage both students and colleagues.

Mr. Aravind’s professional qualities—strong communication, academic leadership, and administrative expertise—make him a well-rounded educator and a key contributor to the academic community and success of the institution.
