Dr. Hemant Sharma is a certified Neonatologist by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (India) with varied experience, having worked in major centers in Mumbai, Noida and has been with Amrita Hospital since inception.

He has more than 10 years of experience in Paediatrics and Neonatology. Due to his passion for Neonatology, he progressed to undertake the super-specialty Doctorate National Board of Examination in Medical science (DrNB-Neonatology) training in 2018 from Surya Hospital, Mumbai which is credited to be the largest private sector NICU in India.

Dr. Hemant has engaged as chief Neonatologist at leading super specialty Hospital in Delhi/NCR (Kailash Hospital) and is credited for establishing the unit there. He was engaged in nursing training and was the lead for Infection Control practices on the unit. To his credit, having extensively engaged at Mumbai for Neonatal transport services, he started the Neonatal Transport services for the previous hospital and was well respected by his peers and the families. He has special interest in managing Extremely preterm and critically sick neonates.

The doctor believes in collaborative team working and was previous part of ‘Ideal delivery time in complicated pregnancies team’ where he engaged with the Obstetrician, Radiologists and Fetal Medicine colleagues.

Having roots to Faridabad, he believes in giving back to the community by serving his own people through our large NICU in order to provide the best care for your babies through discussion and communication with families.
