With less than a decade left to fulfill the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the coming years play a crucial role in making the world a sustainable place to live. With the world continuing to recover from the pandemic, it’s time to reimagine the conversations in a post-pandemic era. In this regard, a series of colloquiums are being conducted as a part of the ongoing activities of the UNESCO Chair on Experiential Learning for Sustainable Innovation and Development and School for Sustainable Development.

The colloquium will feature speakers from UNESCO, Amrita’s partner universities, industry, and academia covering several thematic areas aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals such as Climate Change and Risk Assessment (SDG 13), Gender Equality (SDG 10), Livelihood (SDG 8), Education (SDG 4), Health and Wellbeing (SDG 3) Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Energy (SDG 7), Agriculture (SDG Indicator 2.4.1) and Environment (SDG 15). The colloquium series aims to bring in thinkers, experts, and practitioners in various fields to garner ideas, explore technologies, challenges, and opportunities to devise sustainable pathways in the various thematic areas.
