MathQuest – Unleashing Your Inner Mathematician!
Mathematics is a high-scoring subject that requires students to master key concepts. The key to mastering math lies in consistent practice and problem-solving. MathQuest, the Math Olympiad segment of SciNQuest 2024-2025, provides a platform where students can build a strong foundation in mathematics. Open to students from classes VIII to XII, the Olympiad features multiple-choice questions designed to enhance their understanding. Participating in MathQuest not only prepares students for academic success but also gives them a competitive edge in solving challenging problems.
Guidelines
- Students from classes VIII to XII and exceptionally outstanding performers of classes V to VII
- A team-based event, with each team consisting of two students from the same school
- Teams can be formed from any combination of students of the above-mentioned classes
- A maximum of five teams per school can participate
- Students must provide an authorization letter from the head of their institution
- The event consists of two phases: In the first phase, participants will take the exam online
- Students who qualify in the first phase will proceed to the second phase, which will be conducted at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus
- All teams will be given participation certificates

Third Prize: Rs.10,000.00/-

BrainQuest, the science quiz segment of SciNQuest 2024-2025, offers an exciting quiz-based platform for students from classes VIII to XII to strengthen their foundation in science. This features a series of multiple-choice questions that encourage participants to apply key concepts and sharpen their problem-solving skills. By engaging in this quiz, students not only enhance their understanding of science but also gain a competitive advantage in tackling challenging problems. BrainQuest serves as a valuable tool for preparing students for academic success while fostering a deeper appreciation for the subject through dynamic and interactive learning.

FutureQuest – Innovate for Our World!
Science is the pursuit of knowledge and understanding of both the natural and social worlds through a systematic, evidence-based approach. At the core of scientific discovery is curiosity and hands-on experimentation. SciNQuest 2024-2025 features a Science Exhibition called “FutureQuest,” providing students with a platform to showcase their creativity and research skills. This year’s theme, “Our Earth, Our Future,” envisions scientific ideas that promote sustainability and integrate all branches of science to address pressing environmental challenges. Open to students in grades VIII to XII, the exhibition encourages participants to present their original projects and tackle real-world scientific challenges. By taking part in FutureQuest, students not only deepen their understanding of scientific principles but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, preparing them for future academic and professional success.
Guidelines

The exhibit should demonstrate a novel idea or device in an original way that supports the theme of the exhibition; purchased exhibits are not allowed

Contributions made by others must be acknowledged on the exhibit or in the abstract

Each exhibition team can have up to four members. An exhibitor may present or be involved with only one entry

Exhibits must fit within a space of 1 meter deep (front to back) and 1.5 meters wide (side to side), with a maximum height of 2 meters from the floor. All exhibits must be self-supported. For exhibits exceeding these dimensions, permission must be obtained from the organizers

Exhibits will be inspected by event officials, and their decisions are final

No poisons, drugs, controlled substances, or hazardous devices (e.g., firearms) are allowed

Sharp items (e.g., needles) are prohibited

Cover all sharp edges or corners on glass, metal plates, and enclosures

Enclose hazardous exhibits with screens or shields, and do not leave them unattended

Minimize and secure power and extension cords to prevent tripping hazards

Open flames and heat sources require prior approval and must be safe guarded

No toxic, corrosive, or flammable chemicals or gases are allowed without approval

When using lasers, ensure that direct beams do not reach the eyes of observers

All exhibits must include clear labels and descriptions to help viewers understand the project

Exhibitors should be prepared to explain their work and answer questions from judges and visitors

Clean up the exhibit area after the event to maintain a safe and tidy environment

Exhibitors must adhere to any additional guidelines provided by the organizers before or during the event
