Dr. Rajneesh Chaurasiya

Qualification: BE, M.Tech., Ph.D
Research Interest: Fabrication of semiconductor Devices: memristor, gas sensor, thin film transistor, phototransistor, and solar cell. Atomistic simulations of nanodevices. Numerical simulation of solar cells. Materials properties analysis using the Density Functional Theory (DFT). Development of neuromorphic computing and artificial olfactory sensor systems.

Bio

Dr. Rajneesh Chaurasiya currently serves as an Assistant Professor, School of Engineering, Chennai, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chennai Campus.

He acquired the graduate (B.E. – Electronics and Communication Engineering) and post-graduate (M. Tech. – Nanotechnology) levels. He completed his doctoral work in Nanoelectronics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur.

Dr. Rajneesh Chaurasiya has over 5 years of teaching and research experience, including more than two and a half years abroad. He has served as a postdoctoral fellow and research fellow at leading institutes in Taiwan and South Korea. Dr. Chaurasiya has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Nature, AIP, ACS, RSC, Elsevier, Springer-Nature, and IOP, among others. Several of these articles have received the highest citation awards, and a few have been selected as featured articles by editorial boards. His research areas include the fabrication of semiconductor devices such as memristors, gas sensors, thin film transistors, phototransistors, and solar cells, as well as atomistic simulations of nanodevices, numerical simulation of solar cells, materials properties analysis using Density Functional Theory (DFT), and the development of neuromorphic computing and artificial olfactory sensor systems.

Dr. Rajneesh Chaurasiya has received fellowships and awards from various institutes and professional bodies, including the Ministry of Education Taiwan, the National Research Foundation Korea, the Ministry of Science and Technology Taiwan, and others. He has served as a guest editor for Frontiers in Nanotechnology. Dr. Chaurasiya actively reviews for many reputable journals such as IEEE Sensors Journal, Materials Today Electronics, Computers in Biology and Medicine, Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing, Review of Scientific Instruments, Micro and Nanostructures, Materials Advances, Solar Energy, Surfaces and Interfaces, Separation and Purification Technology, Applied Surface Science, Computational and Theoretical Chemistry, Computational Condensed Matter, Heliyon, Inorganic Chemistry Communications, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, and more.
