Abstract :
This paper introduces a new multi-output push-pull primary Zero Voltage Switching Converter (ZVS) in continuous conduction mode. Theoretical analysis and design methodology for a 5W, 50 kHz laboratory prototype push-pull ZVS are discussed in this paper. Simulation of the proposed circuit was carried out with PSIM software and the results obtained are analogous to the results obtained from hardware prototype. Both the results are presented and analysed. The proposed new converter is suitable for communication, automobile, computer and aerospace applications to supply power to more loads. The necessity of more than one single output converters is reduced by this proposed multi output converter. © 2012 IEEE.
