Abstract : The analog switches which we use in our homes are mounted on the walls. Operating these switches is a ridiculous task as they need to be physically turned on and off. This problem is replaced by a smart and convenient technique which is operated by using the web browser through Android application. This term is referred as “Home Automation”. A wireless system used in home environments is called home automation. This automation system assigns the action that should take place based on the time or other sensors, among other factors, and lets the user control the home appliances from his or her smart phone. The construction of home automation employing an IP-connected Nodemcu (ESP8266) microcontroller for remote appliance control and access is covered in this study. Our proposed system incorporates devices like a LDR sensor and a motion sensor to demonstrate its viability and efficiency. As a result, this system, which is cost-effective, flexible, and multifunctional for home control systems, is successfully designed and implemented in real time.
