Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, in collaboration with MathWorks, organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Integrating Model-based Design with MathWorks Tools for IoT” on September 2, 2024, at the Power Systems Laboratory – ABII.

The programme aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience in integrating Arduino UNO, physical and virtual sensors with the IoT workflow using MATLAB Mobile, MATLAB coding, and the Thing Speak cloud platform. Faculty members, research scholars, and students involved in IoT research from various departments attended the event.

Dr. S. Balamurugan, Professor and Chairperson of EEE, welcomed the gathering and set the context for the FDP. The hands-on sessions were conducted by MathWorks experts Dr. Pradnya Gaonkar, Dr. Souvick Chatterjee, and Ms. Tharrini Raj.

Dr. R. Jayabarathi, Vice Chairperson – EEE, thanked the experts and participants for their involvement.
