Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi Campus, hosted its 26th Convocation Ceremony, Samavarthanam 2024, celebrating the achievements of 450 graduates across undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph. D. programs. The event commenced with a video message from the University Chancellor, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, who offered her blessings and shared words of inspiration with the graduates. Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, delivered the blessing address, imparting spiritual guidance and emphasizing the importance of humility and service in the graduates’ future endeavors.
Sri Loknath Behera, Managing Director of Kochi Metro Rail Ltd, was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. In his address, Behera spoke on the transformative power of education, saying, “Today is a day you cannot forget in your life. Education refines our soul; it brings out the inner light within us. The talent, skill, and knowledge you have acquired from this institution should be utilized to bring out inner peace. Be innovative, think differently, and think positively.”
Dr. B. Ashok, Principal Secretary to the Department of Agriculture, Government of Kerala, who was the guest of honour, remarked, “You are in a world where you will not be looking for a job; the job will come to your table. The country you are graduating from is young like you, and it thinks like you. You have every opportunity to be innovative. ”
Dr. U. Krishnakumar, Dean and Director, Dr. Shantikumar Nair, Dean of the School of Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine, Dr. R. Dhandapani, Controller of Examinations, and Sri. K.
