Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is actively supporting various autonomous higher educational institutions across India. The initiatives include knowledge exchange, academic audits, participation in committees such as IQAC, Board of Studies, and academic advisory committees, and hosting academic delegations to study the university’s best practices.
Recently, a team from Avinashilingam University, Coimbatore, led by Dr. U. Jerinabi, IQAC Coordinator & Professor of Commerce, Dr. A. Poornima, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, and Ms. Pavithra, Administrative staff, visited Amrita’s Coimbatore campus on 28 August 2024. They interacted with Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman of IQAC at Amrita, who showcased the university’s best practices, including IQAC’s role as a nodal office for rankings and accreditation.
Dr. Prashant R. Nair also virtually participated in the Board of Studies for Data Science at P.B. Siddhartha College of Arts & Science, Vijayawada, on 29 August 2024, where key changes in the curriculum for various data science programs were approved. Additionally, he chaired a session at the National Conference on “Innovations in Science, Technology, Agriculture & Healthcare Applications” (NC-ISTAH-2024) at Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, on 24 August 2024.
These activities highlight Amrita IQAC’s commitment to enhancing academic and administrative quality across institutions.
