Overview

At the heart of the Bharatiya way of life and living, lies an all encompassing vision rooted in Dharma. While we may endlessly praise that which is Bharatiya, how much do we really know beyond those words of praise? How literate are we in the Bharatiya way of things?

We are beacons of knowledge and culture, and our journeys shape the future of generations to come. The time is ripe to rediscover the Bharatiya way, and transform ourselves into the forefathers of a brighter tomorrow. The School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies, Amrita University, welcomes you all to, ‘Bhāratīya Jñāna Paramparā’, a 3 Month Online Certificate Course in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS).

Focusing on the foundational aspects of our knowledge systems, the course aims to discuss how to learn and apply this ancient wisdom to build a better future. Rather than a mere indulgence in the pride of ancient inventions, heritage and antiquity, this course emphasizes the decolonization of knowledge and precautions against false and pseudo-scientific claims and pride driven biases. The primary aim of this course is to leave you with a framework to better understand Indian Knowledge Systems.

Join us to begin your journey to being Bharatiya. Learn to continue the journey on your own.
