Abstract : This research carried out to enhance physical properties of Styrene butadiene rubber (SBR)-Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) blends with nano alumina reinforcement. Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) filler in different compositions were added to rubbers for modify properties such as hardness, tensile strength, tear strength, abrasion resistance and rebound resilience. Rubber blends with four different compositions 1phr, 3phr, 5phr and 7phr of Al2O3 were prepared and tested. Results were noted and plotted. Comparison done for each sample and the possible reasons for the behavior were discussed.
