Abstract : In the medical field, it is very crucial to obtain the results accurately in less amount of time. nowadays the covid cases have been increasing gradually and as a reason, the time of computations has to be decreased. In this paper, an SVM-based covid detection model on chest x-rays has been proposed with a relatively small dataset by preprocessing the images with a pooling operation and performing principal component analysis.
