Abstract : In this paper a new guidance law is proposed to achieve any desired impact angle in the entire angular spectrum to intercept a non-stationary non-maneuvering target of any heading, avoiding obstacles present in the environment. The guidance law is based on multi-phase Pure Proportional Navigation (PPN) law, which is an advancement of the existing work for non-stationary non-maneuvering target interception in surface-to-surface engagement scenarios to achieve impact angles for only one half of the angular spectrum. In addition, all possible heading angles of targets are considered. The present work also takes care of the avoidance of obstacles while generating the interception law. Finally, the proposed guidance law is simulated for moving target interception for different engagement scenarios to demonstrate the efficacy of the presented scheme.
